It’s not therapy- it’s mental health maintenance.

As a mom, do you ever find yourself escaping to the bathroom just to have a moment to yourself? Staring out the window and trying to find that last thread of patience for your child? Catching a glimpse of yourself in the mirror and asking “Who the heck is that girl?!”

We've all been there! But instead of trying to find these leftover tiny pockets of time for yourself throughout the day, how about intentionally setting time aside for yourself?

Mental health check-ins allow mothers to find room for themselves in a life that often feels only has space for others. A set time to reflect, vent, heal, grow, and more than likely laugh at the humbling experiences only motherhood can bring.

Using the example of airlines teaching passengers to put their oxygen masks on first in emergency situations, we as mothers must also prioritize our mental health to truly be the best for our children and families.

It’s not selfish; it’s a service to yourself and ultimately your family.

So put on something comfy, grab your favorite seat, lock the door, and let’s talk about YOU (with no children interrupting us! Yay!)
